About
the
Project

The Texas Coastal Bend Dolphin Project (TCBDP) is an ongoing project involving numerous scientific studies on the local bottlenose dolphin population in the Texas Coastal Bend.

The Texas Coastal Bend (TCB) is a region along the Gulf Coast of Texas that encompasses Corpus Christi Bay, Aransas Bay, and part of the Laguna Madre. Members of the project are student researchers with the FABEMM (Functional Anatomy & Behavioral Ecology of Marine Mammals) Lab at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
